The experience was excellent from the start to the end!! A lot more than expected! We enjoyed the roadtrip a lot, as our guide Chiara and our driver Marcello were very pleasant, kind and helpful. We had enough time at St Moritz to walk and shop around the city and sit for a hot chocolate (approx 2 hrs). Then we got into the Bernina Express where we had the most amazing and fun train ride possible. The places we saw were amazing and our guide was still with us, explaining the spots we were passing.

You go by bus from Milan to Tirano. There you have an hour at your disposal to walk around the city on your own. Then you take the red train. Attention: the train is not the express, but it is smaller with smaller windows. However, it can be seen well all the same, the windows can be lowered during the journey. We sat on the left, but it is quite indifferent. I only recommend sitting in the seats that go in the direction of the train, not the ones in the opposite direction. Once in S.Moritz you have a couple of free hours, we took the opportunity to go around the city and take a walk along the frozen lake. The guide and the driver are amazing, helpful and nice, well done Alessandro (Alejandro) and Simone!

The trip was incredible! the tour guide was wonderful! But the information is deceiving and should be more accurate. This is not the Express train - it is the Bernina RED train. It takes you one way, from St. Moritz to Tirano only. All the other routes are by bus. It was an amazing day and the View is just stunning. but it wasn't what was written in the info page.
