We really enjoyed this tour, and our guide Gina was very good and enjoyable to be with for the 2-3 hour tour. It's a walking tour, but it's very easy walking, punctuated by frequent stops and opportunities to sit down. The tour was a good chance for us to see South Beach, as we were first timers to the area. So we enjoyed the historic architecture and the beachy ambience. Of course this is a culinary tour, so food and drink are involved. And to that point, our initial meeting place was a restaurant where we all introduced ourselves (around 12-15 people on our tour as I recall), and enjoyed a popular drink from Colombia (a most interesting combo of beer and orange cream soda - quite better than what you might think), as well as a Colombian inspired empanada, and the most amazing ceviche we've ever had, which was said to be a Peruvian preparation. We made three more stops for food, and keep in mind these are all what you would think of as apps or small plates, and a gelato dessert stop.
We thoroughly enjoyed it! Mojitos and snacks half way through the session. The instructors were amazing and very patient and we felt like we had some moves by the end of the session. We stuck around at the club and was not disappointed by the performances and the vibe. This is a must when visiting Miami!
Teachers were wonderful! So much fun! Warning the venue allows smoking so just be aware that it gets smokey outside the room the class takes place. Inside that room was fine. Such a great time!
I've always wanted to learn the correct way to Salsa. Although, I was by myself the instructor danced with me and made me laugh and even checked on me to make sure I was having a good time.
The teacher was amazing. Please can you offer advanced classes if we visit Miami again .
