Depart from the Bugibba Jetty and begin your cruise along the northern coast of Malta. Pass by all of the sights including St. Pauls Islands and the statue of St. Pauls, and Ahrax Point.   Continue cruising through the north channel of Comino as you pass by the elephants head, Santa Maria Bay, St. Nicholas Bay, and the Comino hotel. Make quick stops to enter both Ahrax Cave and Santa Maria Cave. Throughout the journey, Captain Kevin will inform you about the sites and give you information regarding Malta. After approximately 1 hour, arrive on Comino island in the famous Blue Lagoon. The boat will moor up and you can enjoy a stop of 4.5 hours. During the journey, feel free to use all the facilities on board the boat or get off and explore the island. Relax and sunbathe on the top deck or find some shade on the main deck. Take a refreshing plunge into the cool, crystal-clear water. Take advantage of male and female toilet facilities, lockers, and the cafeteria which serves hot and cold beverages.  At the end of your time in Comino, head off to the island of Gozo without stopping. Cruise around the Mgarr Harbour and see more important sites from the boat. Return to Malta via the south channel of Comino, passing by Crystal Lagoon and its caves and St. Mary's tower.

Amazing experience! The crew were friendly and knowledgeable, sharing facts and jokes along the journey, and spoke multiple languages. The boat was positioned in the perfect location, in a beautiful spot that allowed use of the slide and space to swim without the crowds. Whilst at the blue lagoon you can use the boat as a base with deckchairs and space on top deck. They play chill music and serve food and drinks - all at reasonable price, can even get a cocktail in a pineapple which makes for a great insta pic! If you want there are a limited number of lockers, a €10 deposit that you get back at the end. The boat first goes to the blue lagoon where you can take a speedboat ride for an additional fee (let the crew know and they arrange it). After some time at the blue lagoon the boat leaves for about 30 minutes to Gozo, this is to drop off the people who choose that option, however if you are only at the blue lagoon they are happy for you to come for the ride. Best day of our holiday!

Amazing experience for our last day here in Malta and we are really glad we chose mermaid cruises as it was the perfect sized boat and friendly group of people; it didn’t feel overcrowded and it was a relaxing experience with it being a smaller boat, compared to the larger ferry-type boats that offer the same excursion. We definitely recommend the extra €15 speed boat to the caves once you get to comino blue lagoon as the caves are well worth seeing, but also if you are a thrill seeker then you will love it (hold on tight!) We felt it was well worth the money and it made us want to stay in Malta a lot longer. Thank you mermaid cruises for the best day!!

Wow! The cruise, the crew & the overall experience were simply phenomenal! Hornblower was parked at the best place in the Blue Lagoon with plenty of room to swim; additionally, you could enjoy the ride to Gozo & back if you wanted to! I definitely recommend this experience - it was a highlight of my trip!

It was absolutely worth to go on this trip, we saw amasing places! The captain and the crew were very kind and helpful.

It is a very cool excursion. It is worth doing it, the boat is very cool and the captain is very nice.
