My family of 5 and I booked a trip with Travesias Mexico to climb on Iztaccihuatl. The business is an established business with a physical office in the La Condesa neighborhood. Their office has a range of outdoor gear for renting if needed. The guides were very nice and knowldgeable. They had both had a lot of experience in the area as hikers / climbers / guides. They were accommodating to my family's needs and abilities during the trip. I would definitely do a trip with this group again and I highly recommend them. Mike C Seattle, USA

We loved the trip, everything was excellent, including the breakfast stop, hiking racksack and essentials for hiking, lunch stop and finally the hike. Few things would make it even better would be proving the hiking path map before the hiking start, providing a phone number to call in case of emergency on the hike and a bit of constant communication between the first guide and last guide to make sure that both are not too far apart ( May be even carry radio talkie or something to connect and talk)

Our hike began at 3,500 m. With every step you could feel the thin mountain air. So please only book if you are reasonably fit and sporty. And on site, of course, only go as far as is good for you. Shoes with a good profile should also be clear. And then you will be rewarded with a wonderful view, physical challenge and great vegetation.

I had a very good experience with Bernardo on a daytrip and trekking through Itza-Popo National Park, super attentive and pleasant, a true mountain professional. The stops on the way back for food also very good and with true local flavor. I fully recommend the services of Travesías Mexico for everyone

Albert was the most amazing guide ever. It was almost a private tour (only 2people) and everything was taking care of. The hike is physical but definetely worthy.
