Our walking tour with Alex was an outstanding experience and one I have already recommended to friends and family. The expertise and professionalism displayed by Alex was amazing and he mixed in humor with his local knowledge well. The food selection was beyond excellent with 7 local dishes that were each different and very tasty with an additional 1 local dessert (which you had 2 option to choose from). Alex explained the dishes well and whether they looked like something I would normally enjoy, they were all amazing choices that tasted great pushing me to try new and exciting dishes. I would challenge anyone that takes this tour to try each dish, even the Relleno Negro!

We had an amazing time with Alex! He showed us places we would have never found without him. His enthusiasm for the Mexican food was catching and inspiring. We ate the best tacos and tortillas ever!!! Really glad we had this experience! We definitely recommend the tour to everyone! Stefan and Ines

Very enjoyable experience with Alex, sampling local dishes and exploring the local market. Long wait for the food at the first stop put us behind schedule so felt a little rushed in the market. Would have appreciated stopping at various food vendors for explanations on how their ingredients are used and additional information on Mexican food culture (e.g. history, seasonal dishes, breakfast/lunch/dinner dishes). Also feel the price is a bit high, especially considering the low cost of the actual dishes. Overall, recommend the tour but some improvements are possible :)
