What people are saying about Mekong Delta

Our tour guide, Viet, is very professional, engaging and hilarious! He made us feel at ease. The bus felt luxurious and I’m glad it was a small group (<10pax). This was really an adventurous tour. There was a bicycle activity around the local village but my bicycle broke down halfway :( Thankfully Viet switched bikes with me and I continued for the rest of the journey. Kayaking was also another activity but you can’t kayak if there’s low tide. when we got in the water, it started pouring! But that’s beyond the guide and the tour’s control so we headed back to the dock. I really enjoyed the cooking class and rowing boat. Journey from HCM to Cai Be is around 2-2.5 hours, not too bad!

Nice tour to get a sense of the Delta Mekong area if you only have 1 day. Our guide Kang was very enthusiastic to show us around the area he was from, very kind and friendly! This is one of the tours that go the furthest from Ho Chi Minh and it was worth it, less touristy than the closer areas. However, do not expect to see the floating markets of your dreams: unfortunately there is basically no market left anymore after Covid (maybe in further areas, if you can stay overnight).

Our guide, Fore, was wonderful and friendly. I highly recommend the course I went around. Lastly, it may be safer for elderly people not to overdo the panorama of the rural scenery. It may be dangerous when going down because the steps are not uniform. I happened to bring a T-shirt, so it was good, but I recommend bringing a T-shirt to change into. Everyone was sweaty lol

Harry was an amazing tour guide. Very accommodating, easy to talk too and knowledgeable when it came to Vietnamese beer and culture. Would recommend to anyone who are curious about Vietnamese beer and interested in the culture !

Really fun trip, included cycling through village and kayaking on the river. Mr Fa was a great guide, friendly, good sense of humor and shared a lot of knowledge about Vietnamese culture.
