The stories told with water puppets are closely associated with the spiritual life of Vietnamese people, especially in the countryside. The stage for the show is the surface of a water pool. Puppeteers demonstrate their clever skills by managing puppets with long bamboo rods and a string mechanism under the surface of the water. A traditional Vietnamese orchestra provides musical accompaniment. The puppets act out the stories told by the songs, which reflect the peaceful life of the Vietnamese countryside.

Get breathtaking views of Ho Chi MInh City from the Saigon Skydeck on the 49th floor of the 262-meter high Bitexco Financial Tower. Ascend the skyscraper on one of the city's fastest elevators at 7 meters per second. Opened in 2011, the innovative skyscraper was inspired by the lotus, Vietnam's national flower. It is currently Ho Chi Minh's tallest building and was created to represent the energy and aspirations of the Vietnamese people. Admire this symbol of the beauty of the city and its rapid economic development. Learn more about the different landmarks of the city from the interactive screens and boards. Use the binoculars on the skydeck to look across the skyline. Go to the bar or restaurants to enjoy some refreshments, and shop for souvenirs at the gift shop before you leave. See traditional costumes at an exhibition by the Ao Dai Museum.

The tour will being at 6:00 PM with pickup from your hotel. Your guide will give you a quick safety briefing, then you’ll hop on the back of their bike and zip towards the city center with an expert driver.  Weaving through busy lanes you will wind past the ochre edifice of Notre Dame Cathedral and see the Gothic features of Saigon Central Post Office. Drive along roads that skirt the famous river and pass many other gorgeous sights before reaching the port. Here you will climb aboard a luxury cruise vessel. Enjoy a delicious meal of Vietnamese specialties as you drift along the river. Spend some time on the open-air deck to savor the tranquil views of the glittering lights back on shore. After dinner, you’ll be taken back to your hotel, where the tour will end at around 9:45 PM.
