Youssef was the best guide we have had in years. As conference planners we spend a few days getting to know the local area and Youssef exceeded all expectations. He told us a story about each of the local artisans and taught us about the local culture and traditions.

We had the most wonderful experience, we saw so many places in the souks. Our guide was so knowledgeable about Marocco and its history. He was very kind, and went with us to the best stand for a Maroccan mint tea and traditional pancake, delicious!! He also negotiated the price for us when we wanted to buy something so we didn’t overpay (there was no pressure to buy anything btw). He knew everyone in the souks, and everyone was so kind and welcoming to us when we wanted to look at things. We were treated with the utmost warmth and respect, and chatted the morning away about Marocco, his home and our home. Do not look any further, this tour is the best!!

Words cannot describe the knowledge and excitement I received during this tour. You can never go wrong with Ishmael as your tour guide! We spent all the time learning about the artists, vendors, and artisans who work day and night to make a good living. Loved the tour, and with more time and finances, I would take it again.
