The tour was amazing. A very long day but entirely worth it. It does not feel as long as it is listed. It took about 2 and a half hours to get to Guatape, and the same about of time back. So take out 5 hours for the day for travel. Make sure to bring a book or some headphones for the ride. Once you get there, you get to climb the rock, then you go for lunch afterwards. Next it is a slow ride around the water on a boat. Lastly, the host gives a guided tour of Guatape with the history, and they give you an hour to walk around and buy souvenirs. And that’s it! A fun relaxing day. I loved the group I came with and made new friends!

The time stated for the meeting point was not correct. We knew half an hour to wait for the bus. We felt like we were the only ones who didn't get the correct timing. It said on the email we received the night before that we would meet at 8am at the Metro Estadion, when it was only 8:30am. Too bad. The information given by the guide was also wrong, it said that our guide's name was Patricia, the guide on the bus was called Alejandra. Yes, well, mistakes can happen anywhere. Otherwise all information was correct. There was a lot of interesting information on the bus and the bus driver tried to stop at certain places to take photos. Admission to the stone is not included in this tour (we knew that), but we were able to pay for admission on the bus. We didn't have anything to show that we had paid for admission, but everything worked out perfectly. Otherwise all good.

Amazing views from the top of the mountain (La Piedra).. No lift so you have to climb up around 750 stairs. Entry fee to climb the rock was not included in tour price.. COP$20000 each. Be aware of the prices for food and drink at the top, it's a captive audience and the prices are HIGH. City tour was good and informative, meal was included in the price.
