If you are going to visit Medellin you need to do this tour! The cable carts are well worth it for taking great pictures of the view of Medellin and our tour guide Sebastian was incredibly knowledgable and helpful before, during and after the tour! The history behind Communa 13 is something that will interest anyone!

Carolyn is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Make sure you ask questions, because she won't talk about alot of the graffiti, but she knows alot--you just need to show interest and ask. They are trying to appeal to tourists, so you stop for snacks, stop for ice cream (horrible!), and a beer. I would have rather perhaps done ONE of these stops and seen more and heard more about Comuna 13.

I read several blogs that said Communa 13 was overrated and very touristy, and I’m glad I didn’t listen to them! It was such an incredible experience- Our tour guide Katherine was amazing, she was very organized throughout the tour and she provided so much background information about the area and it’s transformation. It’s a massive hub of art, music, dance, and food! Do not miss out on an amazing experience!
