Your ecological adventure begins with pickup from your hotel then heads towards the 3 islands of Mazatlan. Perhaps the most iconic symbols of Mazatlan, the islands are named after the main species that inhabit or once inhabited them. The destination of today’s tour, Deer Island, is nestled between Bird and Wolf Island, and is the largest and most popular island of the 3. There’s plenty to see and do on Deer Island, thanks to its natural attributes and terrain which provide a fantastic recreational space. Spend the day snorkeling in the warm waters in search of colorful marine life, relaxing on the white sandy beaches, and kayaking around the shoreline to soak up incredible views of both Mazatlan and Deer Island itself. You can also follow your expert guide on an ecological hike around the island, to see and learn about native flora and fauna that grow and live here in abundance. At the end of a fun, adventurous, and educational day, head back on board the boat for the return journey to Mazatlan, and then drop-off to your hotel.

In winter, it's possible to view the gentlest giants of the ocean, humpback whales. The insular areas (islands, islets, and rocks) of the Gulf of California represent approximately 50% of the insular territory of Mexico. On this route, you will get to know the most important islets of Sinaloa, which are in front of the port of Mazatlan. On board a high-speed, semi-rigid boat, you'll cross the bay whilst discovering different islands, islets, rocks, and beaches. This will give you the opportunity to take photos while your guides share the history, geology, and life of each of these landmarks. During your tour, you'll be surrounded by diverse types of birds, such as gulls, frigates, and ducks, among many animals such as dolphins, turtles, and with a bit of luck, stingrays. On the morning tour, snorkel and spend some free time on the famous Deer Island. On the afternoon tour, enjoy a beautiful sunset show.

Take a relaxing journey down the Presidio River by kayak. Afterward, enjoy a local lunch and a tequila tasting tour. Your experience starts with pickup at your hotel in Mazatlan. From there, travel approximately 40 minutes to the quaint village of Veranos. Upon arrival, you will be provided with all the required equipment for your kayaking experience. Float down the Presidio River to see beautiful surroundings and notable landmarks such as the Picachos Dam. The ride lasts approximately 90 minutes and crosses 12 kilometers.
