Indulge in approximately eight sensational tastings.  Along the way, explore the real Port Louis: the old buildings and the stories they have to tell, the Company Gardens with their majestic hanging Banyan trees, the busy market full of colours, voices and flavours, and China Town and its will to preserve its culture. Join this three-hour walking food tour and satisfy your appetite for food, history and culture.

What an awesome little tour! Our guide was very informative, not only about the food but also the history of Port Louis. We ate a variety of local snacks/dishes and I went out of my way to find some of the same dishes (asking by name) in the area I was staying in. Mauritian food is truly diverse, just the way I like it! Definitely recommend this tour!

Small group walking tour through Port Louis city area with a very polite and knowledgeable guide. Regular stops with interesting detail about buildings, history, background etc. It is a must do if you have a keen interest in local culture and history with the added bonus of sampling food prepared whilst you are there.

Our guide met us on time and at the meeting point. Our guide was chatty, engaging and informative. The food was too much for me ! Not that I'm complaining. 1 filled roti, another roti type bread dish, some sort of sweet biscuit, a bowl with 5 dumplings in and I got offered another bowl ! A drink and fruit and a pudding dish at the end. Not wanting to spoil the surprise just wanting to help with food quantity. I have small appetite and was full after a few dishes and my partner has a large appetite and said he was stuffed by the end ! The food was all local and lovely. We also had a visit to the local market which was good too. Def recommend
