This workshop was great fun, highly interactive and well organised. A ‘translator’ met us at a central place, and took us to the venue - that was appreciated, because I doubt we would have found it otherwise!! The instructor was well organised, had templates and material ready and we felt well catered and prepared for. The amount of work that goes into a slipper was a real eye-opener, and certainly gave us a new appreciation of the instructor’s work. Our translator was hardly necessary as our instructor had a good grasp of English, but we enjoyed very much her input into the conversation. Overall, this was a top experience that I would highly recommend. We left very proud of our new slippers!!!
Excellent opportunity to learn sitting next to a master in a small group situation. He was able to teach to our interest and also to our ability. I learnt so much, coming away feeling inspired and grateful for the privilege of the opportunity provided.
This was an excellent look into not only the Moroccan cooking but also a brief glimpse into the lives of the people. The food was wonderful and is something that I will enjoy cooking at home.

Wonderful ladies! Karina was funny and spoke wonderful English! The shopping trip through the market was inspiring.
