    Full description
    This pottery training course is designed to allow you to understand the two different shaping techniques most practiced in Morocco: the turning on the famous traditional potter's wheel and the technique of molding.  It is also an opportunity for you to observe all the workshop's organization from the first clay preparation, until the firing and the glazing of potteries.  Enjoy a tea break midway through. You will be helped during the class by an experienced craftsman.

      So happy I signed up for this tour. I will be back again next time I’m in Marrakech. Mr. Mohammed is a skilled craftsman and a great teacher. He showed me some skills and led me whilst I was making different pieces. I also met another craftsman who paints the pieces, and he was a good laugh. Last but not least, my tour guide, who went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable and really enjoying myself while working as a translator. If I could give more stars I would, I had an absolutely lovely time. I’ll be back

      Excellent experience. Helps to connect with local potters and understand how they live their lives with pottery while learning from the masters. The potter was incredible (Mr Mohamed) who is a tradesman for 50 years. Extremely patient and kind and we got to know him well. If we come back we will do this again.
