Full description
Explore the Ourika Valley, located in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The valley sits 38 miles (60 kilometers) from Marrakech in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Discover a maze of lush greens and salt mines on the 8-hour tour. It's the perfect destination for people who seek Moroccan adventure, relaxation and meditation, offering you the chance to completely switch off from modern life. The tour will cross the Ourika River, which begins in the High Atlas Mountains and runs down towards Marrakech. Look out for the large number of plant species and even the rare Barbary Macaques that have made the valley their home. A walking excursion will allow you to see the splendor of the High Atlas Mountains; the trek begins at Setti Fatma, where you will walk for 1 hour to the heart of the Ourika Valley. Observe the refreshing waterfalls, providing a resplendent place to take pictures and rest and enjoy lunch at a restaurant at Ourika. A really good experience - you see how berber life and good nature

It's a great tour! It's 8-9 hours tour but you see a lot. Go to an argan farm, what is interresting, see how berber live - go into a house, and last but not least the waterfall. It's also a great trip to escape the summer heat. You driver was really nice and kind and the guide mohamet was amazing. The tour the hill can be a bit hart, but he was helping everybody and looking after them. You have the stunning few. And you eat in a berbervillage for lunch what was good after the hike. A really enjoy the trip anf it's super cheap. Thanks!

Tourist trap

Pleasant excursion, very beautiful landscapes, and very nice guide, although we prefer to do things for free. Several stops in places oriented to the sale and tourism of groups (souvenir shop and cooperative of Argan) .The climb to the waterfalls through more shops, and a simple glass of tea, 2 euros, we still had a good time. In the end, the guide took us to eat at a place, where he would have a commission, where there was no option to choose more than the tourist and tasteless menu they offered, 120 dirhams (12 euros) and a separate drink. The worst food and more expensive, in the 6 days we've been there ... with how rich Moroccan food is! Overall good, but we were a bit with a bad taste in the restaurant. They picked us up and returned to our Riad, all very correct.
