Transportation from our riad inside the Medina was convenient with an escort to and from the shuttle bus. A short 45 min. drive to Agafay Desert for a fun and entertaining dinner experience was so much easier than a 3 day trek to visit the Sahara Desert. Aziza, the owner of the desert restaurant, made sure that everyone was well taken care of. Service was very friendly and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend this excursion!

We were picked up from a square near our Riad. The quys were really pleasant & friendly & explained what the itinerary would be. Took about 1hr to get to the camp. You have to swap vehicles towards the end for 4x4 to cross the terrain. We had tea on arrival & sat for a while admiring the Atlas Mountains. Watched a beautiful sunset. Food was delicious. Blankets to keep us warm were handed out. Could see loads of stars & planets. The host & her staff were great. Music & entertainment provided. Take warm clothing/hat as it gets really cold on a February evening in the desert. Friendly dog followed us to watch the sunset- didn't have any dog treats unfortunately for her - ( she's not allowed in camp) incase you're not comfy with dogs. Would definitely recommend this trip. If you fancy an alcoholic drink take some cash as this is not included. Thank you to all those involved, a lovely memory making trip & keep reaching for those stars!

The experience is lovely. You travel out to desert and take a camel ride or quad bike to the camp. The camp is well organised and the staff very attentive. The food was excellent. If we have any criticism it would be the quality of the entertainment which was, I think, without any intended offence, a bit amateurish. Whilst we were unable to see a sunset, due to unusual weather, the location was fantastic If you decide to stay over, you will not regret it as the rooms are amazing
