Full description
This shared day-trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech will start with a pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in the morning. From here you will venture out of town to visit the most beautiful and highest waterfalls in North Africa (about 100-meters high). Upon arrival, you will begin by enjoying a hike in the village of Ouzoud. Feel free to explore the area yourself or with a local guide, as you cross the green valley, shady orchards and traditional water mills. You will even be able to meet the Berbers living in the mountains. After you arrive at the huge waterfalls, you will be able to see the waterfalls falling back and forth, forming a panorama of magic and rainbows. At the foot of the waterfalls, lunch can be taken at leisure in one of the local cafes that serve delicious Tagines next to the stream, complete with beautiful views of the waterfalls. Ascending to the top of the falls, you will come across families of maggot monkeys, who accustomed to tourists will welcome you in their own special way. Your day trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls will end in Marrakech, at which point you will be dropped off at your accommodation.

Great day out but the minibus was a bone shaker

The waterfalls were great and well worth the visit. Bit of an extra trek to see the monkeys but not all that far and easily reached. The guide was good but not sure it is necessary to use one to get best out of the trip aside from giving the safety in knowing you will be back at your bus at the right time. The minibus might have had suspension at some point but that seemed to have long gone and one of the seatbelts was broken.

The tour says it has a local guide included, but in the end everyone had to pay another 30 DH to that guide. And we were 3 people. As much as we complained, he said it was so. I would like to know how this situation is resolved as none of this says on your site. Also, the only thing the local guide did was take us there, that is, accompany us on the route, and tell us that the falls were 110 meters high ... and said nothing more. I do not think this is the function of a guide. Our guide was Mustafah. To mention that the van (transport) had no air conditioning, and we were all "melting"! It was a trip that was always going smoothly and I didn't like it. I do not recommend. I was very surprised negatively because I have done several tours with you in different countries and this never happened.
