Full description
Day 1: Departure from the hotel in Marrakech towards the old village of Ait Benhadou. On your way there you will pass through the wonderful Tichka pass, which is the highest road pass in Morocco. After visiting and having lunch in the famous village of Ait Benhadou, you will drive through the Rose Valley and head to the Dadès Gorges. This is where you will spend your first night, staying in a hotel with dinner and breakfast included. Day 2: Today you will drive towards the desert of Erg Chebbi, the most beautiful dunes of Morocco. You will pass through the Todra Gorge, the tallest gorge in Morocco, as well as some Berber villages. You will have lunch in the middle of the trail, before heading onward to the dunes. As you arrive close to the dunes, you will be able to take some time to rest and change your clothes in a nice hotel, and can even have a cup of mint tea before riding your camels over the dunes. You will also take some time for a sunset pause on the way to the camp. A charming and romantic dinner will be served by your nomadic family, and you can enjoy the desert view of the stars before you go to bed. Day 3: On your final day, you will wake up early depending on the sunrise time, before being served breakfast. After your return ride back to the main center, you will join your bus and drive to Marrakech.

You have to trust the organization of the drivers/guides! Great encounters during these long hours on the road, sporty driving can be surprising but we end up getting used to it Little regret about the lunches, "imposed" in tourist restaurants where we did not eat well but the rest was Great :)

The worst thing about this trip is the hours sitting on the bus, especially the 3rd day. But I think it compensates a lot, especially the second night. The 1st day we had a bad experience with the guide of Ait Ben Haddou, he did not explain anything to us and he was very rude. Although in the description of the trip it says that the guide is optional, they did not leave us an option to choose. They took us off the bus and left us with this man who we didn't like at all. We think we would have enjoyed going alone more than with him. The rest of the experience, however, has been VERY GOOD. On the 2nd day we had Jamil as a guide through the Toudra Valley. A man with a very contagious energy. He made us laugh a lot and guided us very well throughout the valley. Finally, the night in the desert was SPECTACULAR. Food, traditional music and dance, and an impressive starry sky. Can't ask for anything more. In addition, in the tents we became very good friends with Hassan, who treated u

Excellent trip! Fantastic and beautiful places! We went in January, in winter, and we had some downsides: - The van was good, but it didn't have air conditioning. We were cold in the mornings and hot in the afternoons. - The hotel in Dades is incredibly cold in winter and has no heating. Despite this, the staff is very attentive and kind. - Overall it was colder than we imagined it would be. Be ready.
