Full description

Embark on a full-day tour to the Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech. Learn about Berber culture as you explore the land. Descend winding trails and admire stunning views of the falls on a boat ride.

Begin with pickup from your hotel or riad, before departing for one of the most spectacular waterfalls in North Africa, located 93 miles (150 km) north of Marrakech. As you arrive in the village of Ouzoud, admire views of the cascades that plunge 360 feet (110 meters) into the pool below. Follow your local guide through olive groves to an argan oil co-operative and learn about Berber culture. Make the most of the opportunity to admire the views and take photos. Continue down a network of trails to a viewpoint where you can buy fresh orange juice. Board a traditional boat for a short ride on the pool at the bottom of the waterfalls. Then, enjoy a late, Berber lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the falls.

In the mid-afternoon, climb a series of stairs out of the valley for your transfer back to Marrakech.

Honestly the best excursion I did in Morocco. I thought the walk would be strenuous and wasn’t. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone with walking difficulties. The guide was calm and spoke good English and was a place of tranquil, beauty and natural. The restaurant we stopped at service amazing menu for 100 dirham/10 euro and was delicious whilst overlooking the waterfall. Would recommend 110% whilst staying in Morocco The only thing I would mention it’s not like a river or full boat ride. You literally hop onto a little raft boat and go near the waterfall for 10 minutes Thank you for this amazing experience

A wonderful experience! The guide was very friendly, enthusiastic, taught us a lot and gave us useful tips (eg Scams). He also recommended a restaurant at the end of the tour. Best food we got in Morocco and cheap too. The trip there and back with a stop in between was ideal. The bus was comfortable with AC and curtains. I recommend this trip 100%. We enjoyed it immensely

Redouane was our local guide and was very friendly and knowledgeable! He spoke in both French and English and handled some more difficult tourists with grace and ease. The falls are beautiful, and I especially loved the boat ride, which took you right to the base of the waterfall, and the rowers gave all angles to get the best shots. The monkeys are so cute! beware of those selling peanuts and coercing them to hop on you for a picture. Remember, these are wild animals! Always give space they deserve. We enjoyed our lunch with a nice view of the falls and were very fairly priced and quality was fantastic. Stopped half way there and back which did help break the drive up which was about 3h total. Came in Feb and wasn't very busy at all at the falls! I would definitely recommend it!
