This tour was the highlight of our 2-week trip to Morocco. We did the trekking tour over New Years Eve. Our guide Hassan was great. He is very funny and speaks very good English. The tour was well planned from start to finish. We hiked about 48km in the 3 days. Since there were only two of us, we had a 'personal' chef Mohammed, who conjured up 3 great meals for us every day, so far a mule, which finally dragged my heavy backpack. The chef and guide coordinated each other perfectly every day, so that lunch on the mountain was already prepared when we arrived. The weather in December was great. It was very sunny during the day. At night it was already very cold, but thick camel hair blankets helped in the accommodations. The accommodations were simple, e.g. T. without electricity but with warm water. Sturdy shoes are recommended, warm clothing and toilet paper in the winter months. We would highly recommend the trip to anyone.

Beautiful tour in a wonderful landscape. Very well organized. Our hotel was very hidden, but they called the hotel and found us anyways. In Imlil it was already really cold, we got hot tea and gave our bagpack to Ali who loaded it on the mule. With Hamid we startet our tour. Ali was always cooking, making tea and making sure we were alright. Hamid was always there to answer our questions and explain about Berber's customs. So apart from seeing wonderful landscapes and finding yourself in the middrle of reddish mountains, you will learn about Berber's culture. If you travel in winter make sure to bring warm clothes, because it will be freezing at night as there is no heating. You will sleep in Berbers villages and therefore get a full experience. Day 2 will be very exhausting but worth every minute. We enjoyed this trek very much and feel very lucky to have been accompanied by Ali and Hamid, two wounderful people.

A great tour!

We had a great tour. It was well organized. Our guide Ibrahim from Imlil is a great guy. He helped us with everything and managed everything wonderfully. He is a very pleasant person. Chef and donkey driver Hamid has prepared great food for us, whether on the hut or for lunch in a meadow. In addition, he always managed the donkey, which we also loved very much. The huts and that should be a matter of course do not correspond to what is known from the Alps etc. Warm beds, good food and a shower are also available here. Don't forget that you're traveling to an economically poor area! So it was a great tour with very interesting insights into the life of the Berbers. Highly recommended!
