The tombs were designated for the kings and other powerful people of the city, and filled with food, money, jewelry and other valuable items. Marvel at the Dalyan Canal as it weaves its way from Köyceğiz Lake to the beach, a peninsula jutting out from the mainland. Famous for the endangered loggerhead turtles (Caretta Caretta) that lay their eggs in the sand, as well as blue crab, the beach is now protected to help conserve the turtles, making it out of bounds to the public from May through September. Jump into a mud bath for an indulgent and therapeutic wallow before your return transfer to Marmaris.

What people are saying about Marmaris

The excursion was great! Everything went smoothly with the cards. As a little tip for hunger, I can recommend the Love Café with a clear conscience! Clean and is also good for us Europeans :) The tour guide should work with her kind in a bar and not with tourists. I don't want to include that in the rating, because everything else was really great! Instead of taking the bus in Marmaris, I recommend a taxi for €7 to the bazaar, which saves you an hour's bus ride.

A great day trip. Stroll comfortably through the harbour, shop and enjoy a meal. If you want, you can also take a city tour. However, this is associated with a visit from dealers.

had a great time wasn't expecting a coach tour to bazaare. people friendly in marmaris. had 4 hours shopping

Brilliant day trip, highly recommend this boat trip. Loved every minute of it.
