Spend the day shopping in Salsalito or take bus from Salsalito 30 min. to Mier woods. The woods are ok but very big tourist stop. Fun if you want to get out of the city for the day. 3 mile walk at the Woods or more if you like. If you are tired eat at the best burger place in the world in the oldest building in Salsalito then ferry back. We biked back because in the am it was cloudy when we crossed the bridge and we wanted another look.

Awesome tour! Going across the GG bridge was exhilarating. 3 steep hills to climb on way to the bridge. Not a trip for beginners or out of shape people unless you want to walk a lot. Great to be able to take ferry back and keep bike all day. Scott was our guide. Very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend doing this.
