  • Margaret River: Lake Cave Fully-Guided Tour

    1. Margaret River: Lake Cave Fully-Guided Tour

Lake Cave, a stunning and perfectly-preserved chamber deep beneath the earth, is a must-see for all visitors to Margaret River. Descend a long staircase through a spectacular sinkhole to the floor of the sunken forest, gazing up at the towering karri trees along the way. Inside the cave, a tranquil lake reflects delicate crystal formations growing from the cave's ceiling. Droplets hang from the tips of straws and stalactites before falling to the floor or into the lake, creating ripples in the water. Marvel at the unique suspended table formation, which weighs several tons and seems to defy gravity as it hovers above the clear lake water. As your guide changes the focus of the light to different features within the cave, incredible views and silhouettes appear etched in the darkness.

Loved it, would definitely recommend people to visit. The cave was just absolutely beautiful

  • Whale Watching Cruise from Busselton, Augusta or Dunsborough

    2. Whale Watching Cruise from Busselton, Augusta or Dunsborough

Enjoy an exciting and best value whale watching experience in Busselton, Augusta or Dunsborough. Check-in at Busselton Jetty, Augusta Boat Harbor or Quindalup Boat Ramp, then climb aboard the Tradewind III. Cruise out into the pristine waters to see these lovable marine giants up close. Migrating humpback and southern right whales leave the cold, food rich Antarctic waters and begin arriving around June. Augusta, Busselton and Dunsborough are perfectly placed to view these spectacular wild animals as they make their way past, often stopping off for a rest and play. Geographe Bay, with its usually calm and sheltered waters, means a guided whale watching tour is the best way to see magnificent humpback and southern right whales up-close.

The excitement of getting a glimpse of the whales playing in the water is a very beautiful experience. The crew was very kind to check on everyone.

  • Augusta: Jewel Cave Fully-Guided Tour

    3. Augusta: Jewel Cave Fully-Guided Tour

Jewel Cave is the largest show cave in Western Australia, composed of three massive chambers. Visitors are immediately in awe of the sheer enormity of the first chamber, which is also home to one of the longest straw stalactites found in any tourist cave in Australia. Towering crystal formations, growing for many thousands of years, reach up towards delicate and intricate decorations suspended like vines across the ceiling. Hear stories of the "Tasmanian tiger" fossils found in the cave — these animals perished in the darkness after falling into the cave thousands of years ago. After exiting the cave, you'll have the option to take a self-guided walk through the towering karri forest above, during which you'll pass by the natural entrance to the cave, a small vertical shaft in the forest floor.

Our guide was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour & the cave was amazing. Thank you

It was a nice day overall. the only sour point for us was that we "didnt have time" to go to "Vasse Virgin", before we went to Wild Hop Brewery. It was disappointing because a few of us were really looking forward to that. We would have spent money there. I just think if you pay $123 for a tour and the places are set before the day, you should go to every place. So essentially we paid for a place that we didn't get to see. Anyway, all the wineries were nice and the food was great. Wild Hop brewery was ok but we were all a bit beat by that time.

Not sure which beer to order? They are all fantastic so grab a tasting paddle, or share one with a friend, to savor the range. Not a beer drinker? Rest assured because they have a list of excellent Margaret River reds, whites, and sparkling wines to choose from. After a delicious brewery lunch, you will experience some sensational local produce. Taste cheese at the Margaret River Dairy Co...
