Starting by the opulent Opera House, you’ll travel up Andrassy Avenue to the first historical site - Hero’s Square. Behind this stretches the tranquil City Park, where you’ll learn about some of the buildings in the park, including Vajdahunyad Castle and Szechenyi Thermal Bath. Continue to the center of town, travelling past the impressive St. Stephen’s Basilica and the nearby Liberty Square, where you can check out the Parliament. Cycle towards Margaret Bridge and take a detour off to Margaret Island, an entire park on an island, where you can relax while the guide will be on hand to answer questions and tell you stories from Budapest’s tumultuous past. Cross the river and stop at Batthyany Square to take a break for coffee and cake. Afterwards, make your way up the winding hill to reach the Buda Castle District. Thanks to your e-bike, the trip up won’t be exhausting and when you arrive at the top you will be rewarded with magnificent panoramic views of the entire city. Head back down the hill and cross the Danube to the Pest side of the city. Cruise down the Danube Promenade, passing the Great Market Hall and Pest downtown before the tour concludes back at the Opera House.

Explore Budapest and Szentendre on this self-guided bike tour. Bike through the Jewish Quarter, see the quaint village of Szentendre, and return to town by boat or train. Pick up your bike in Budapest and begin your self-guided journey. Cycle through the historic Jewish Quarter, passing the massive Dohany Synagogue. Continue through the city center to reach the Danube River. Follow marked paths and scenic routes to see St. Stephen's Basilica, the Financial District, and Liberty Square before reaching the Parliament. Take a quick break to enjoy a stunning view of the river bank before continuing over Margaret Bridge to reach Margarete Island. Cross the island to the north. Pass under Arpad Bridge to reach a bike path leading to the Old Town of Buda. Bike along the old cobblestone streets through historic buildings before reaching the Danube Bicycle Trail. Follow the path through a magical forest and pass Lupa Lake, an artificial lake with crystal clear water. If you wish, stop for a quick swim to cool off (entry fee not included). Continue on a newly built bike path to Szentendre, an idyllic city on the banks of the Danube River. Explore the town on foot, stopping to relax on a sandy beach or enjoying a drink or meal at one of the many local bars and restaurants. Once you've explored Szentendre, bring your bike back to Bupadest. From Friday to Saturday, hop on a boat at 5:00 P.M. back to town. During the week, take a regional train.

During our tour, we'll be visiting some amazing places, including: - Margaret Island, which is the largest green area in Budapest - Old Buda, the third part of Budapest - A legal graffiti wall that's always changing, with old factories in the background - A peaceful stretch of the Danube, where we can enjoy the views and soak up the atmosphere As we ride, I'll share plenty of secrets and hidden gems, as well as stories and legends that will give you a deeper understanding of Budapest's culture and history. Please be aware that we'll be covering around 30km, but there won't be any hills to climb. Make sure you wear comfortable clothes so that you can enjoy the tour to the fullest. I can't wait to meet you all and show you my beautiful city from a different perspective!
