What people are saying about Margaret Island

I highly recommend this tour. This boat tour was a great introduction to Budapest. We enjoyed the audio guide that was provided on the headsets -- it was entertaining and informative. One could easily just skip the audio guide and have a peaceful ride. We started out on the open air top deck, but it started to rain. No worries, there was plenty of room on the covered first level area of the boat with just as good of a view. The welcome drinks were nice, too.

One-hour walk through the central area of the Danube that surrounds Budapest. The audio guide is quite complete, it describes aspects of the architecture, local history and some curiosities. The good thing about seeing the city at night is that you especially appreciate the significant buildings that are very well lit. I only regretted that Margarita Island was not skirted and that the guide was not always completely in sync with the tour.

Spectacular views from the boat, nothing cold. The only thing, however, is that not all headphones work and that sometimes the audio information is excessive and you lose sight of the views.

Nice way to see the city from a different point of view, from the fully illuminated Danube and having a drink comfortably seated, served by the staff while listening to the audio guide.

friendly staff, comfortable seats, nice ambience and a great view with interesting information about the Danube, Budapest and its history
