Full description
During a leisurely walk through the historic old town of Palma, experience the historic and diverse culture of the city, and enjoy culinary delights. This tour also visits many of the most important sights in Palma. These include the cathedral, the Almudaina Palace, the royal gardens, the La Llonja Maritime Trade Exchange, the Es Baluard Fortress (Museum of Modern Art), the magnificent BORN Boulevard, Placa Mercat, and the picturesque alleys around the Church of Sant Nicolau. During the tour, you will enjoy excellent local specialities in exceptional locations. These include ensaimda, a pastry famous far beyond Mallorca. The island also produces delicious almonds, products made from oranges, olives and olive oil, sea salt, juicy ham, and a very special sausage called the sobrasada. Captain Micheal J was an amazing guide, so knowledgeable but with a friendly and open style that showed his genuine interest in the history and culture of Palma. We were lucky enough to only have our group of four on the tour so everything felt very personalised. I would highly recommend the tour, and even more highly recommend Micheal J
