Full description
Experience the spectacular caves of Cova des Coloms on a 5-hour caving adventure. The island of Mallorca is famous for its limestone caves and Cova des Coloms is the only sea cave system where you can swim inside. You’ll be picked up at your hotel and travel by mini-bus to the starting point of your adventure. All the necessary equipment will be provided, including protective helmets and a wetsuit. After a coastal walk of about 40 minutes, you'll swim out to the cave (a distance of about 300 meters). No prior experience in sea caving is required and you don't have to go under the water. These vertical cave systems are a great introduction to caving, and the conditions make this the perfect adventure for beginners and families.

The staff was very friendly and helpful (Sandra and Mario), they provided a good atmosphere throughout the trip! The experience was amazing! It was the last day of our vacation in Mallorca so it made our trip even more memorable! We had to walk by the mountainside, swim to the sea cave, climb and swim inside it, and even jump into the water! Also, the view was absolutely stunning inside and outside the cave! So if you like more active holidays, you have definitely try this one activity!

This was the highlight of our Mallorca vacation! More physically demanding than I had anticipated, but very do-able. First a hike (not a challenging hike in itself, but having to carry a large backpack with wetsuit, helmet, 2L of water, lunch, etc. made it harder than it looked), then we changed into wetsuits/lifejackets and swam the ocean (probably the most physically exhausting part of the excursion). We swam towards the cave, then into a small hole on the side of the cliff that lead to the caves. Explored the caves for a good amount of time (people brought go-pros or their cell phones in waterproof seals). Then had to get back the way we came in!

Once in a lifetime experience! Great planning of the trip & experienced staff to help anyone in need. Swimming from the sea ti the entrance of the cave and then swimming & climbing inside the cave. I will definitely do it again in the future. The only thing I would suggest is to provide a more detailed description, as I believe this exeperience is not suited for middle aged people with bad physical condition.
