We up-graded our ticket for €11 each to include the views from the roof of the cathedral and this was really worth the extra. The views of Palma city and beyond were spectacular. I suggest you book this before you go and possible save a little more. There are 142 spiral steps to encounter but you can take your time and not be so out of breath. The cathederal is beautiful and if you have only a short time to spend, then the self guided tour at €6.77 is excellent value. The 24 hour Open-Top bus tour from outside the cathederal is another must do. It is only €9 for seniors and gives you a history of the city. You can hop on or off at 18 stops when you want to investigate further. You can also add a boat tour to your ticket for a little extra.

There were very few people in line. Unfortunately, you would also have to queue in the row where other people first got a ticket. We were only told there that access to the roof terrace had to be paid extra. We received a very good tour at a reasonable price.

Breathtaking first impression just from the outside, it is very large and viewable from the entire city. Inside, we didn't really need to use the skip the line, maybe because it was a quiet day we were there on a Thursday between 1:30 pm and 3 pm, but we got right in and still had to only wait 5-7 people in, so we didn't need the skip the line. But who would of thought. At any rate, the church is worth going in to have a peak and sit if you like and walk around it on your own time. IT's simply beautiful and old. Don't want to spoil it so go see for yourself.
