Full description

Discover the Caminito del Rey on this guided day trip from Costa del Sol. Hike along footbridges and trails as you learn about the interesting history of the path.

Meet your guide and begin your tour at the Conde del Guadalhorce Dam. Take an easy and safe route by bus along nearly 8 kilometers of footbridges and trails. Enjoy breakfast to start your day of adventuring. Follow your guide from the town of Ardales to the town of Álora. Learn about the history of the path and its inauguration by King Alfonso XIII in 1905. Find out why it was declared one of the most dangerous trails in the world when it was built, and why now after its renovation, it's safe. Enjoy an adrenaline rush as you cross the Desfiladero de Los Gaitanes, a narrow footbridge anchored to the rock and suspended in the air. Be thrilled at the end as you cross the suspension bridge, more than 100 meters high. Meet your bus at the end of the tour, and head back to your pick-up location.

Incredibly beautiful hike, and easy if you take the bus ride from Eg. Malaga. In the bus there is good information about history and the hike, in 3 languages. However, we stood in the toilet queue, for over an hour before we could get in, as there are only three toilets for several buses, maybe a urinal for men will remedy this.

Everything was in time (i was a bit confused because there a more than 1 bus at the same time at the Meeting Point- but the Guides will help you) Good orga Wonderful Walk 2 Hours are In the Park are OK. Bit I could spend more in this amazing area. yes A must do

Unfortunately, one of the few ways to get tickets for the Caminito del Rey at short notice is through providers like these ... so we had a trip from Malaga and a very committed young lady as a guide with us. The added value of the information was rather low, but it was available in every language that was represented on the bus :-) The Caminito del Rey itself is great and as a hike not particularly long or strenuous. For those who have problems with altitude, it may be a bigger challenge, but for us (who also get a little uncomfortable at high altitudes from time to time) the path was easily manageable. The newly renovated path makes a great impression, is wide and gives you a sense of security. You will definitely be rewarded with a spectacular hike!
