For a lovely relaxing day at sea, spend a full day on this catamaran excursion to the heavenly island of Ile aux Cerfs. Sail within the safety of the largest turquoise lagoon in Mauritius along the historic wild east coast of the island. Your catamaran departs from Pointe Jerome, near the authentic village of Mahebourg and the Marine Park of Blue Bay, which is protected under the International Ramsar Convention. You can snorkel and swim before visiting the Grande Riviere Sud Est waterfall in its beautiful natural setting.  Here, some 18th-century ramparts can still be seen. They were witness to some tough corsair activities and naval skirmishes. In 1810, tis was the scene of the ”Battle of Vieux Grand Port” between the French and the English.  Enjoy a BBQ buffet prepared and served on board by your friendly crew. Your half-day excursion starts from the Blue Bay Public Beach in the southeast of Mauritius. Board the glass-bottom boat and head out into the Blue Bay Marine Park to observe its underwater diversity. Sail along the marvelous seaside from Point d’Esny to visit the old shipwreck, located in the turquoise lagoon of the Marine Park. Wonderful for a group trip. If you want something more private this may not meet your expectation. Additionally, waterfall view is really limited, so do don’t expect to much from that programme part. All in all we personally were satisfied with trip and staff. Thank you!
