Full description
Explore the Blue Bay Marine Park by glass-bottom boat and snorkeling in the largest marine life and coral reserve in Mauritius, including a relaxing lunch on a private beach. Your half-day excursion starts from the Blue Bay Public Beach in the southeast of Mauritius. Board the glass-bottom boat and head out into the Blue Bay Marine Park to observe its underwater diversity. Sail along the marvelous seaside from Point d’Esny to visit the old shipwreck, located in the turquoise lagoon of the Marine Park. Here, you’ll have your first chance to go snorkeling and discover this underwater world for yourself.   Then, head to the private island Ile de deux Cocos for lunch. Relax on one of the public beaches on the island where you’ll be offered a delicious typical Creole picnic. Choose between a traditional Creole curry prepared with fish, chicken, or vegetables served with rice and salad. A large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be served as well—don’t skip the famous Jungle Cocktail.   After lunch, take up to 2 hours to relax on the beach and enjoy the beautiful environment on this private island. After your break, the crew will pick you up and take you back to the Marine Park lagoon, where you’ll have another opportunity to snorkel among the fish and coral, before heading back to the starting point.

A magical moment… We were amazed: we had the chance to see a sea turtle, the coral reef… it was just perfect! Yannick made this moment very pleasant. The lunch was very good, with a breathtaking sea view. Thank you Yannick for this timeless moment that will remain forever in our memories!

The experience is incredible, seeing yourself surrounded by fish each one more beautiful is wonderful, Virginie, the girl who accompanied us was very kind, she looked for different places to snorkel and see different fish and the curry for lunch was homemade and very delicious. A 100% recommended experience. I would repeat it without hesitation.

Wow! This was the best day by far! Our guides went out of their way to make sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves. When there weren't a lot of fish in one spot we were taken to a better spot and saw the most beautiful fish life while snorkeling. The tour was very relaxing and we had options to drink wine/coke/juice with rum while on the boat. The shipwreck history was very interesting. The picnic on the island was amazing, we loved the traditional mauritian food and we even got sweet pinapple afterwards. It was an experience to see the coral and fish through the glass bottom of the boat. We took many photos and gopro videos. Definitely an experience not to missed!
