See the library, rooms, the main cloister, and art made of wood and stone. Explore a network of tunnels and underground rooms, and see the remains of people who lived hundreds of years ago. Visit the historic side of Lima and explore its streets at night. After pickup at your hotel, admire the illuminated Cathedral of Lima, an architectural jewel that has a Renaissance-style façade. Stroll around the Main Square, see beautiful buildings like the Government and Municipal Palace, then experience the nightlife of the colonial side of Lima on Chabuca Granda boulevard Stop to purchase local desserts and typical drinks such as picarones (donut), churros, arroz con leche (rice milk), emoliente (roasted barley grain drink), and chicha morada (purple corn drink).  Later, make your way to the Magic Water Circuit, the Guinness World Record holder for the biggest complex of water fountains in a public park. The fountains have different forms and sizes and release jets of water up to 80 meters (262 feet) into the air. Have your camera ready to capture a magic show of light, color, music, and images.

Following this, the water park show experience awaits you. After the hotel pick up, the fun starts with the famous Magic Water Circuit at “Parque de la Reserva”, here you will get to feel like a child playing around the water fountains, then enjoy the light show about Peruvian dances, fauna and history. When the show ends, you will be driven to the city centre of Lima. You can walk around the historical centre and enjoy the night view of our main squares like Plaza San Martin and Plaza Mayor,  this will be a good time for pictures and afterwards you can visit a couple traditional bars to try Pisco sours, Peruvian cocktail made of Pisco.  On the way back, your guides will look for a place where you can feel the real Peruvian street food experience: depending on how you are feeling, they can search for everything from hamburgers to ceviches, anticuchos, and desserts. One final round of drinks will be provided for you at the end the night after which you will then go back to the hotel or wherever you request.

5. From Lima: Full-Day to Ballestas Islands & Ica "Huacachina"!

Experience a fun day in Ica! your pick up will start at 5 am from your accommodation. Then, you will have a smooth 4-hour ride to Paracas where we will catch the boat trip to Ballestas Islands. On your way to the islands, you will get to feel the fresh ocean breeze, and look at the mysterious "Candelabro de Paracas Geoglyph". As you get close to the islands you will hear the friendly growls of the sea lions, happy penguins jumping around, Peruvian boobies hunting, and more. We will continue the adventure toward Ica-Huacachina (1-hour ride approx). As soon as you arrive, your tour guide will organize your ride to the impressive steep dunes, almost one hour of pure adrenaline riding the buggies and practicing sandboarding. Words are not enough to describe the amazing desertic landscape, you will have time to get the most memorable pictures. After your tour, it is a good time to go for Lunch (your tour guide will help organize it) or enjoy a good cold drink. Do not miss the chance to take a walk around Huacachina Oasis, hearing the mysterious legends of this beautiful place. After this fun day, it is time to come back to Lima for a comfortable drop-off at your hotel. Your professional driver and tour guide will take care of it.

Upon its construction, the Magic Water Circuit made it into the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s largest water fountain complex in a public park. That in itself is quite impressive, but chuck in a series of really quite spectacular fountains and you have a destination that will keep kids happy and bring quiet smiles to even the most cynical of adults. This tour will start with a pickup from your hotel and you will then immediately go to the Magical Water Circuit. Upon arrival you will observe 13 cybernetic sources. You will also see a geyser that rises up to 80 meters. You will also be able to appreciate the largest water screen in the world, in which an audiovisual show is projected on its 95 meters high screen. After having toured the Magical Water Circuit, you will be taken back to your hotel.

The Guinness Book of World Records has listed the Magic Water Circuit in Parque de la Reserva as the world’s largest fountain complex in a public park. Enjoy these 13 water fountains that combine music, colored lights, and laser effects on a 3-hour family-friendly visit. Arrive just before sunset to experience the fountains in both the daylight and the dark. Take in the Fantasy Fountain water-and-laser-light show, which is set to music. Some fountains are interactive, such as the Tunnel of Surprises, the Labyrinth of Dreams, and the Walk-In Dome. You can try to stay dry as you step inside each one, but will certainly be prone to a splash here and there.
