Review for Madrid tapas & history tour 7pm

We originally booked this tour at 4pm but because we wanted to make the most of the weather we upgraded to the Madrid Tapas & History: Lunch/Dinner Walking Tour which is also run by Pedro. It was very fun! We enjoyed every minute. Pedro has lots of knowledge and the four bars we went to were fab, especially the ham and fish bars. In total we had around 5 glasses of wine and lots of food. We were in great company including Americans, Australians and New Zealander's in our group. We finished off at a churo bar which was a great end to the night. Would definantly recommend this tour, thank you Pedro!

    Very fun and informative!

Our guide Pedro is very passionate and wants to teach us everything about the Iberico ham. We feel we learned a lot from him. We started the tour at a local taberna where we had a drink and tasted the local 'stew'. Pedro explained the different grades and pricing of the jamon. Then we went to a local jamoneria, and tasted different cuts of Iberico meat including a high quality ham. we thought it was an excellent tour. Pedro is a enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. I would recommend this tour highly.

One of the best tours we've ever taken...Pedro was a superior host...

We enjoyed this tour so much. Pedro was friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about food. We learned a great deal while having a great time. I couldn't recommend a tour more highly, or a tour guide. Pedro, a native madrileno was the star...and the food was pretty good too! We sampled the best of the best hams and also cheeses, olive oils, accompanied by a beautifully chilled local white wine. Atmosphere at the jamoneria was fantastic. I would take another tour with Pedro anytime - he offers several.
