He did a phenomenal job teaching the class and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. His English was great and he provided some unique insight in terms of how to pick out the correct ingredients, how to tell if what you're getting is authentic, and he provided the recipes with great notes to follow at home. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who loves cooking and expanding their recipes as they travel!

Fun class with personable and knowledgeable chef who spoke excellent English. Very well organised. A great way to spend 3 hours in Madrid. I also enjoyed the pre-class tour of the markets and the opportunity to buy the spices and equipment needed to reproduce the recipes at home. Very clear instructions about the meeting point and local contact details. It was terrific that you arranged for me to be able to attend as a single person. However I was charged 10€ more than the advertised price- I think I should have that extra 10€ refunded. That is my only complaint. The experience itself was fantastic. I think they would have sold a few aprons to the class if they had had them available as a memento.

Would definitely recommend booking this

I booked this for my Husband's 30th birthday as a surprise and would highly recommend. Our chef Fernando was professional, interesting and he had a lovely teaching manner. He was teaching the class then going on holiday straight after but he didn't make us feel rushed or like he didn't want to be there. The Paella and the Sangria were the best I have ever had as it was done the proper way. The Spanish Omelette, The Confit Salad and the dessert were also lovely. I also thought it was nice of Fernando to do the washing up as I thought we would have to do that but he looked after us washing up the dishes, refilling our Sangria and letting us enjoy the food as a group. It was the right mix of him teaching us and us getting involved with making the dishes.
