Itinerary:

Day 1 (Monday) Madrid – Córdoba – Seville

Depart from our established hotels in Madrid. Please refer to your documentation for detailed departure information. Drive along the land of Don Quixote “The Man from La Mancha” to Córdoba. Enjoy a city tour including the Mosque and Jewish Quarter. Continue to Seville for a night's rest in your hotel.

Day 2 (Tuesday) Seville

After breakfast, take a panoramic city tour. Visit the cathedral, Santa Cruz Quarter, and Maria Luisa Gardens. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Stay overnight in a hotel in Seville. In the evening, you can take an optional Flamenco tour in Seville.

Day 3 (Wednesday) Seville - Granada

After breakfast, depart to Granada via the Caliphate Road. Visit Alhambra, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. These monuments will amaze you. Overnight in Granada. Take an optional gypsy night tour in Granada.

Day 4 (Thursday) Granada Breakfast at the hotel and free day to enjoy the Nazari capital. Granada is more than the Alhambra; the Muslim heritage runs through every corner of the city and mixes with the Christian tradition, giving rise to a unique city. Optionally, you can participate in this spirit and be immersed in the magical neighborhood of El Albaicín, a World Heritage Site, to discover its secrets: beautiful visits to the Sierra Nevada, old mosques converted into churches and old palaces, still saturated with Arab aromas. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 (Friday) Granada - Toledo - Madrid

After breakfast depart towards the Imperial City of Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the 3 cultures of Spain (Christians, Moorish, and Jewish) have lived together for centuries. Take a tour of the most important city monuments and its narrow streets. Then continue to Madrid to complete your tour.

The tour itinerary was very good but a lot of walking which I found a bit difficult at times being a senior. The tour guides were enthusiastic but sometimes a bit difficult to understand their English. The exception was in Seville where we had a superb guide called Paulo for Seville cathedral. The hotels were good- food & accommodation. The optional tours excellent especially the Flamenco experience in Seville. I wish we had more time in Córdoba & Granada but distance had to be considered. The stop in Toledo was superb. The only downside was the drop off point was changed at the end and we had to walk back to plaza espana about 10-15 mins. Having said all of the above .. I would still recommend this tour as it gives a wonderful insight to the beauty, history & majesty of Spain.

Everything is good, except there are 2 different hotel choices, but we I book the tour, I didn't have the option offered. The 4-stars hotels include in the package was "Originally" 4-stars, the dinner offered in the Seville hotel is very poor, we therefore skip our second dinner. I will recommend to choose the "First Class Hotel" (if you have that option), the hotels are more central located and you can sleep more (later pick up time in the morning)

The tour was great in the sense that you get to see all the top places in Andalucia and Toledo. I recommend it for first timers in Spain. My goal was to hit all the architecture spots. However, the tour does not include entrance fees to the Alcazar and Seville Cathedral. Also, we have local guided tours around the cities, but we spend most of our time in all the Jewish quarters. I would have liked the tour in the mosque in Cordoba to be longer and maybe a tour of the Alcazar. They give us plenty of free time if you want to see any other places. I would recommend not to do the boat tour, so you have ample time to see both the Alcazar and the cathedral in Seville. I heard the flamenco show was good but the gypsy cave was not so much. I liked the hotels. The tourist class in Seville had a hotel closer to the center which was a plus for me. To the parasol area, it was only ten minutes! The Granada hotel not as close but doable. The food was pretty good as well.
