It seems I was the only person on the tour. But the host Al was entertaining and spoke excellent English. Al took me to a mix of bars: The first had a chill vibe to it, the second was an old school establishment (with live jazz!) and the last was a retro classic (apparently in with the Spanish celebs and literati). The cocktails were ok, mostly too sweet. But I enjoyed Al’s company. He’s knowledgable and passionate about his city. Enjoyable evening overall ...

We did this on the first night and it set us up for the whole visit.

This was informative , exciting and very absorbing . The walk incompassed the culture of the city and its architecture which is stunning and vibrant. My advice is to do it on the first night in town , it’s set us up for the days head giving us a brilliant overview. The city is so centred that walking is the best way to see it .

An evening to remember! Elizabeth took us on a fascinating tour of Madrid’s darker history. Her storytelling was masterful, vibrant and spellbinding. Down tiny back roads to picturesque squares, the layers of Madrid were revealed at a gentle walking pace. Highly recommended.

One of the best tours we’ve ever been on. Dark and tragic, the history and stories were presented in the most amazing, dramatic and heartfelt way. Our guide, Elizabeth, was impossibly lovely and incredibly talented. I’d book it again in a heartbeat.

A very comprehensive, informative and generally well-planned trip.

The tour is four days/3 nights covering major sites in Cordoba, Seville, Granada and a brief tour of Toledo on the way back to Madrid. Well-organized, informative and ideal for those who want a quick look at these amazing cities and sights.
