La base What a once in a lifetime experience. Everything is handled great. Pickup was on time and of we went to “la base” right next to the Rio Madre de Dios river. Once we arrived we had an amazing breakfast and our rooms were ready. At arrival we were lucky enough to spot wild monkeys in the trees of la base, incredible. After breakfast the first trip started and we went to lago sandoval. 1 of the many trips to come. The guides were great and we were greatly impressed by the knowledge about the animals, plants, trees and everything that is found in the river and amazone. This kind of information you can't learn in school, you have to learn through experience of living in the jungle. The food was great, the drinks were cold and the artmosphere was amazing. We felt home and were sad to leave, but we left with a memorie we will never forget!! Charlie, Eddy, Alda, Jair and the whole team, many many thanks! It was an amazing 4 days!! Regards Kirsten and Johan.

A 360-degree experience in the Amazon rainforest. The accommodation is very basic and full of animals inside (there are still mosquito nets on the beds) but it is the price to pay to see the real Amazon rainforest. The excursions were many and all fantastic (excursion to the lake, night excursion in the forest, excursion to the island of monkeys, excursion on the night river in search of caimans, kayaking on the river, etc). The guide and manager of the lodge is a truly fantastic person who puts his all into every activity. 100% recommended

We had the best Amazon experience at Paradise! Our tour guide, Jhonatan, spoke very good English and had a wealth of knowledge that he shared with us about all the flower and fauna of the Amazon. All the staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating. The food at the lodge was also great! We did various activities, with the Sandoval lake being the highlight and I couldn’t recommend this activity more!

truly a magical experience! the guides were great (Eddie, Alda, etc)! food was good every time. The sleeping accommodations were better than expected. The time between excursions were great. I left with so many beautiful photos, memories, and new friends from the experience. would HIGHLY recommend! especially as a solo female traveler. do it. you won't regret it.

A great experience. Very competent guides. Accommodation in the middle of the jungle. Real Peruvian cuisine.
