What people are saying about Madre de Dios Region

I can’t believe I didn’t even spend $30 USD for this. This was the best use of my money maybe ever. I know they can’t add too much to the description because they don’t want to overpromise due to how nature and the weather are unpredictable, but really this was like 3 tours in one and I’m still amazed how much we saw in such a short amount of time. Everyone caught a piranha and the lake was full of them. Hundreds of parrots going to roost with a sunset background is not to be missed. Then walking back was in the dark which was like a mini night hike which was a crazy experience seeing a herd of wild boar. Our guide was awesome, keen, the whole tour was on time with great communication and organization. I still can’t believe they don’t charge 3 times the amount for this.

The description should mention that it includes a long walk and not only a boat ride. We enjoyed the activity.
