Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara
After pickup at your accommodation in Nairobi, commence your drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and marvel at the breathtaking panorama of the valley. Arrive in time for lunch, then depart on a game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve after check-in. Return back to camp for a delicious buffet dinner.
Day 2: Maasai Mara
Spend a day exploring the Maasai Mara National Reserve in search of the Big 5 game animals. Between July and November, catch sight of the great migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from Tanzania, a spectacular annual event only seen in Maasai Mara. Keep an eye out for the predators of the savanna — lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the beautiful surroundings.
Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nakuru
Enjoy one final early morning game drive in the reserve. Have breakfast before beginning the drive to Nakuru, where you'll arrive in the afternoon.
Day 4: Nakuru to Lake Naivasha/Hell’s Gate
After an early breakfast, head to Lake Nakuru National Park for a 3-hour game drive. Look out for the rare white rhinos — one of the Big 5 — and have the chance to see pink flamingos. Continue to Naivasha, where you'll arrive in time for lunch. Visit Hell's Gate National Park for a biking safari, then enjoy a 1-hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for birdwatching and hippo viewing. If your energy levels aren't up to cycling, you can take a driving tour of the park instead.
Day 5: Naivasha to Nairobi
After breakfast at your accommodation, begin your return journey to Nairobi. Enjoy lunch along the way and conclude your tour with drop-off back at your hotel or at the airport.
