Luxor is possibly one of the hottest places on Earth so please remember a hat, water and shades! Our guide Yola was so friendly that by the end any inhibitions were gone. There was no pressure to buy anything that she took us to and I walked away with some lovely gifts for my family at prices I wouldn’t have been able to get in Cairo. The trip was long as I naively and foolishly booked the bus but what was really nice was the manager came to pick us up to make sure we got the right stop! So after 8+ hours we finally made it. The city is stunning. The monuments are breathtaking and you can’t help but be awed by everything. On the way back we got on a different bus where we saw the real Egypt! This bus took forever as we had many pit stops and finally arrived back in Cairo at 6:30am where the same driver was waiting for us. So apart from the heat and the journey I could not say enough lovely things about Yola and the overall experience

Communication took place via WhatsApp and ran without any problems. We left at 5:30 am and arrived at around 10 am. It was very, very hot, but we learned a lot from Mimo the guide about the history of Egypt and saw a lot. We then went on a trip to the Nile for 15 euros, where we got delicious mango, dates and grapes and water and grenadine juice. We also did a little tour of a banana plantation and saw monkeys, pigeons and baby crocodiles. You could also touch the baby crocodiles. All in all a very, very successful day !! :)

The day went very well! We were picked up from the hotel at 5.20am (despite an announcement at 4.45am), and arrived in Luxor at 10am. There, we met Farid our French guide who was adorable! Thanks to him, we were able to discuss the culture in Egypt and he was able to explain to us the history of Luxour and Egypt too !! Very nice unforgettable day

The guide was very smart, friendly and answered every single of our questions and helped us understand the history a lot ✅✅✅

After initial misunderstandings, the tour was a lot of fun, we got to see a lot and explained it very well
