Full description

Tour of the archaeological sites on the banks of Luxor. Explore the gateway to the Valley Of The Kings and the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut with an Egyptologist guide and enjoy an authentic lunch.

Be collected from your accommodation and meet your Egyptologist tour guide, who will take you on a full-day tour to the East and West Banks of Luxor. The West Bank is the primary destination. Here, explore the archaeological elements at the pharaonic temples, which are the gateway to the Valley Of The Kings housing the tombs of famous Pharaohs of ancient Egypt.  Continue your tour and visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as the Foremost of Noble Ladies, and marvel at its ancient monuments. Next, go to the Colossi of Memnon and visit the two astonishing stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.  Take a break to refresh yourself with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Next, visit the East Banks of the Nile, aboard a ferry boat crossing for 5 minutes from West to East Bank of Luxor. The pristine temple complex of Temple of Karnak is your first destination in the East Valley. At the end of your tour, you will be transferred back to your accommodation in Hurghada.

It was a nice trip, well organized. The transfer was accurate and included to the price after some arguments which we had as after booking the trip they wanted to charge us extra money for it, but at the end they kept the conditions which was written at the website. The guide was really kind, the heritage sites are incredible. Everything was great except the optional boat ride. They will tell you that you will see crocodiles and monkeys but when you get there you will see that they are in really small cages and not in their natural habitants. We felt really sorry for them and if we would knew before that they are not free, we would never pay for that. Please do not pay for this optional trip, hopefully they will let them soon free.

Good drivers, the guide was also very open and provided useful information. The mini bus is in a very good condition and was very clean. Even the capacity for was about 15, we were only 6 tourists. Booked the trip one day before. Communication with the travel agent was as well very good. The total value of the additional entries was 580 egipt pounds(Karnak, Valley of the kings and hatshepsut). Is better to have local money and not usd or eur, as they adjust the rate in their favor.

The trip was super fun, our guide was super funny and entertaining. We first went on quadbikes, and then spider bikes and a jeep ride to the bedouins where we rode camels and learnt about the Bedouin way of life and herbal medicines. We then ended the evening with a belly dancing show and Tanoura. Thank you again for everything!
