I recommend this for Game of Thrones fans!

We went around midday in June and I would warn anyone doing this walk at a similar time, it gets very very hot! I recommend; sunscreen, a sun umbrella, & a fan. (or go at an earlier or late walk if you can't bear the heat) The guide was great though and tried to keep us in in the shade along the streets but there are areas that there is no shade available. You can fill water bottles for free at any of the fountains in the city and the water is cool and lovely, definitely do this! The city is beautiful and the tour guide takes you around and talks about what scenes were shot and shows you pictures to compare but also has great stories about the behind the scenes action and local impact of Game of Thrones. We had a couple of people on the walk who had not seen the show or had only seen the first series. As the first series was not shot in Dubrovnik I wouldn't really recommend this tour unless you are a fan & you have seen at least the second series. Ideally see all series first & enjoy!

Great tour of the City Wall and Old Town

We bought a Combo Ticket with Dubrovnik Walks, which covered a 2-hour tour of the Wall and a 1.5 hour tour of the Old Town. You could take them separately, so to avoid the heat, we did the Wall in the morning and the Old Town walk at 6pm. In any case, our guides were super friendly, informative, and funny. We had Marco for the Wall walk, who was fabulous and very knowledgable as well as entertaining. Then we had Davros during our 6pm tour of Old Town - again, super knowledgable, answered so many questions, and very entertaining - a pleasure to listen to! We were a family with one son, aged 14 and all of us were happy with the walks - very professional and would highly recommend!

You just have to do this with Dubrovnik Walks

We decided to do both walks on the same day but you could easily spread it over a number off days. First we did 2 hours on the walls with the most brilliant guide, Marko. There was not this guy did not know about the history of Dubrovnik and his delivery was most entertaining. It was an extremely interesting two hours, made by the fact we had Marko!! In the afternoon we did the Old Town tour with 'Ivan the Cheesemaker'. Another extremely knowledgeable guide who knows 'not much' about cheese but thankfully a huge amount about the Old Town. Don't try to do these tours on your own, using Dubrovnik Walks with these fantastic dudes is the only way and the best way to do it.

Brilliant kayak trip - highly recommended

Very well organised trip from start to finish. Met the tour leaders at 11am and received instructions & kit. Kayaks in great condition - 2 person kayaks. We opted for the longer trip, 7.5km, around the island of Lokrum. Opportunity to jump off the cliff into clear blue water. Met those who had opted for shorter kayak at the pebbly beach. You spend longer at the beach if you do the shorter trip so again, glad we did longer kayak trip. Tour leaders were excellent. Always checking everyone was ok and giving information about the sights and points of interest along the way.

Exremely charismatic tour guide, beautiful places

Bruno, our guide, took us to beautiful sights in Dubrovnik, all of which appeared on Game of Thrones. In spite of the heat, we were able to make sufficient stops which made the experience comfortable and fun. Appart from the tour, he also told us fun facts about the show and filming, which is essential for this good review. Only remark is that there were many people on the tour - there could be a limit due to the hear... There are many GOT tours going on in old town, so, to play safe and pay a better price, I would definitely recommend this one.
