The museum is huge. Seeing everything in one visit is almost impossible and the ticket should definitely be booked in advance, preferably during the week. Our ticket was for 10 a.m. and it was already very, very crowded. The exhibits and pictures are great. An audio guide is very advisable, because background information is given that makes the whole visit so exciting. The staff in front of the Mona Lisa is extremely unpleasant. A queue is formed in front of it and in about 20-30 minutes you can admire the portrait from up close. Some visitors make it quick, some park in front and stay 5-10 minutes. If you are unlucky, one employee will lump you in with the second ones and shoo you away after 10 seconds... very disappointing

A wonderful museum with unique works of art! The entrance hall impresses with its structured organization of restaurants, information desks and free lockers. Then we can start! The only downside to the museum: Unfortunately, the museum was (as expected) far too full, and you had to queue for some works of art. In addition, the entrance to the museum took a long time because we had to wait 15 minutes despite the Fast Lane ticket

The most amazing art collection we have ever seen. The Baroque in particular was breathtaking. Could not recommend enough. Definitely be there thirty minutes before the said time. You skip the ticket line but need to wait at least thirty minutes to get into the building. Also bring an umbrella in case it is really sunny or has a chance of rain.
