This was so much fun! From pick-up in front of our hotel to drop off a few hours later, everything went smoothly. This tour was very organized. Our guide on the airboat was Ronnie. He was smart, funny and kind...making everyone feel welcome. We had a close-up view of several alligators, turtles and birds. Ronnie gave us a lot of informatiom about the animals, trees and plants in the bayou. He is clever and witty--we learned so much while having a lot of laughs. He lives nearby and was able to share some amusing personal anecdotes about growing up near the bayou. We had a full boat with people of all ages, from all over the U.S. and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Great overall, the only issue is having to wait so long after taking the transportation option, about an hour before we could board the airboat. However once on our guide was very knowledgeable and really funny and kind. April is still a little on the chilly side, so jackets and pants is smarter than shorts and t-shirts. Also when the weather is on the colder side, there are not as many gators out and about. But overall we saw 10-15 gators and loved the experience!
Probably the best tour I have ever been on. Our tour guide was a knowledgeable local who was funny and totally crazy ,he had no fear playing and feeding the Alligators . Got to hold a baby alligator he had rescued. We’re still talking about this your.. it’s a must if you visit New Orleans!!!!
Tour was Great! Sean (Bird) was very friendly, knowledgeable, kind and funny. Keisha, our driver, was awesome! The tour was filled with great sites and rich history. The bus was clean, spacious and air-conditioned. overall great tour!!
The tour guy was real cool and very informative it was our 1st time doing a swamp tour and everyone in my group really enjoyed themselves 10 out of 10 for us. I think the best part was holding the baby alligator
