Join your guide again at the stated time to take your hour-long boat trip across the whole frontal face of this 260 foot-high ice wall. There is a little bar inside the boat where you can buy hot beverages to fight the cold Patagonian wind. Return to your hotel in El Calafate in the early evening. Day 2: On your second day, you will be picked up at your hotel again and head through Argentino Lake´s shore. You will reach a panoramic point to have incredible views of the lake and the Andes Mountains. On the tour, you will discover the original culture during the visit to an archeological site. You will explore caverns that preserve paintings of the original Nativos of these lands. To finish this amazing tour, you will have lunch/dinner inside one of these caverns. Enjoy a traditional lamb casserole in this special atmosphere that will transport you to those remote years. Return to your hotel in El Calafate.

Begin with a pickup from your hotel and a 37-mile drive to Los Pioneros boarding, in the southern area of Los Glaciares National Park. Sail for an hour before disembarking at the end of the Brazo Sur, where your first trekking of 1.24 miles will start. Go to Lake Frías and navigate your way in Zodiac-type boats to the opposite side of the lake. Begin your second trek of 2.79 miles passing through a forest with centuries-old Lengas, and then through an old glacial valley. Walk until you reach Lake Frías Superior, which is covered with icebergs. See the Dickson, Cubo, and Grande glaciers. Enjoy a box lunch with these amazing views before returning to El Calafate and back to your hotel accommodation.
