The experience was fantastic, and Ed, the instructor was great too. After the initial class and explanation of the basics, the instructor took his time with each of the students of the group, helping us catch the first waves. Then, each of us was free to keep surfing while the instructor watched on us and tried to help us improve the technique. It definitely made me enjoy surfing, even if it was my first time and I fell a lot. Be prepared for quite an intense class, it can be so tiring!

This was my first time surfing and I can’t imagine it being a better experience. The on land instructions we very detailed and clear and helped me a lot in the water. The instructor was with us the whole time giving advices and assistance whenever needed. Even it’s a group class, I felt like each of us had plenty of personal attention. The water didn’t feel cold thanks to the wetsuit. This was a fantastic memorable experience and I would never forget my first wave!

I booked my lesson pretty last minute and they were accommodating, even calling me to make sure I knew how to find them. The lesson was very informative. Be prepared for a pretty thorough run through on land so that you can go out in the ocean and have a better chance trying what you learn. Very friendly people, definitely would recommend and will book them again when I return to L.A.!
