We were guests of Gleann in late May and just had a moment to sit and write about our experience. Gleann's perspective and knowledge of how the past transcends to the current day still resonates with us. His sense of humor and kindness will be one of our most cherished memories during our trip to Northern Ireland. Gleann was able to incorporate a stop off at our son's place of employment in Derry, along with an invaluable conversation along the entire wall and into the Bogside. Gleann's expertise is a five star experience!

Gleann is hands down is one of the best tour guides I’ve had the pleasure of learning from. He gave us a completely different perspective of Derry and Belfast. He added to the knowledge we already had. He was funny and answered all questions. There are no words to describe how brilliant this tour was and I would do it again to get more information from him. Every penny spent on this tour was worth it and I’d spend more.

Our excellent guide, Gleann Doherty, was great! His encyclopedic knowledge of both “Derry Girls” and Derry history, and his sense of humor, and stories, made the tour so great! If you love Derry Girls, and learning some of the historical background of this cool city, take this tour — highly recommended!

Gleann was a great guide, thoughtful and informative. He gave us lots of information from the Troubles, from a personal perspective. Also amused my daughter with explanations of key locations from Derry Girls! Highly recommended.

Very good and informative would recommend Gleann Docherty to anyone thinking of any tours in Derry
