Full description

Discover one of the most famous prehistoric monuments in the world on a half-day trip to Stonehenge. Travel to the site from London by air-conditioned vehicle and enjoy views of the English landscape en route. Download an audio guide on your smartphone to use while you explore on your own. Situated on Salisbury Plain in the Wiltshire countryside, the cluster of 40-ton rocks was constructed more than 5,000 years ago.

Although the function of Stonehenge is still a matter of fierce debate, what is known about the UNESCO World Heritage Site is that it has been a site of pagan worship for centuries. Make up your own mind as you uncover the history behind the extraordinary monument. A new world-class visitor center is now a short shuttle bus ride away from the stone circle site and combines cutting-edge audiovisuals with exhibitions of ancient objects.

Certainly these are only stones, but if the mystical side of this place calls you go there. Between the morning mist and the frost on the ground with the sunrise, the whole thing gives a magical atmosphere. Like what one can be absorbed and travel miles for a monument that has no equal.

I recommend to everyone Great trip Nice everything organized. Priced ok too. Our guide Armando was great. He took care of the participants of the trip. He had a lot of knowledge and was able to help and answer every question efficiently. He tried to make everyone feel good and took care of a guide and a souvenir map for everyone in his own language I recommend is worth K.

The place is excellent, a marvel settled in an energetic point, with a good vibe. It exceeded my expectations. The guide very friendly and pleasant. Negative was that we were cold on the bus because the heating did not work. Almost all with their jackets and hats, that was unpleasant. When we got on after visiting the set I told him about it, and it is seen that other people told him. He told me he was going to try but if it didn't work he couldn't do anything... and it looks like it didn't work, because the lap was colder. When we got back to London I had to go to the hotel to warm up. The heating started just 5min before arriving back. On another excursion in Scotland something similar but he was able to fix it. I don't know if it's a matter of the country that they are hard to turn on the heating.
