I was lucky enough to enjoy a 1-2-1 tour, with tour guide, Mark. He was very personable, friendly and most knowledgeable. The tour was supposed to be around 50 minutes but we were still going after 70 minutes! The information Mark provided was in depth and extensive not only about the Globe Theatre but also around the history of Elizabethan London and the plays of William Shakespeare. First class tour which I would thoroughly recommend. Good value too. Thank you Mark and The Globe.

This was one of our favorite tours during our Paris/London Trip. It was really informational about the globe and Shakespeare, but also about London during this time. Our guide Llye (sorry not sure of the spelling ) was very charismatic and had really interesting and funny facts to share. The tour only consisted of 15-20 people and they only lead one tour group at a time, so it was a very intimate tour. The only downside is that there weren’t a lot of times to take photos - there was time to take photos in the center by the stage but not in the stands on the second floor.
