A very nice combination to take the ship from the Westminster district to the Tower, to explore the Tower (for which you should plan several hours); we were lucky :-) that it rained in the meantime, then the huge snake in front of the entrance to the house with the crown jewels disappeared and we were able to look at them, which we didn't expect at first given the snake; the tour of a beefeater was also very interesting and funny and the ravens do the rest...

Took this tour in July of 2022, and this is a 7 hour tour. Based on previous reviews I was expecting Tower access to be around 1pm, but the walking tour itself ended at 1pm. The Thames cruise was scheduled for 2pm (time to grab a quick bite to eat), and the Tower entrance time was scheduled for 3pm. If we hadn’t been touring on the hottest day ever for London, we would’ve spent at least 2 hours at the Tower, but because we were so drained from the heat, we spent only about an hour. The guided part of the tour is the 3 hr walking tour, then you are on your own for the cruise and Tower portion. The combination of items is simply for convenience as the tour leader gives you your tickets at the beginning of the walking tour and happily answers any questions about cruise and Tower. We enjoyed this tour and thought our guide Eve was great. But it’s just as easy (and likely cheaper) to book each of these items separately and on your own schedule.

Tim, was hilarious, very funny and made the walking tour very pleasant. My husband and I found our tour guide very knowledgeable in the history while explaining the tour. The river cruise was delightful and pugs us right next to the tower bridge , perfect photo and for last the Tower of London which is the mis rain where the Queen has her jewels, excellent. We definitely recommend this tour, please do remember on Tuesday there is no change of guard in front of the Buckingham palace, therefore we missed that part of the tour. Will suggest to carry umbrella or rain jacket
